Insulated Sandwich Panels.

Insulated sandwich panels manufactured to the highest international standards. Rigid polyurethane foam is sandwiched by metal or flexible facings, providing a cost-effective system for buildings and energy conservation.

Specification

Specified to the micron.

  • Thickness range

    25 – 200 mm

Manufactured in steel or aluminium facings.

  • K value

    0.024 W/m·K

    At 35 kg/m³ moulded density.

  • U value at 50 mm

    0.48 W/m²·°C

One fortieth the transmission of concrete.

Higher density is available upon request. At 40 kg/m³ density the K value is 0.027 W/m·K, giving U values of 1.08 at 25 mm, 0.77 at 35 mm and 0.54 at 50 mm.

  • Thermal

    Forty times better than concrete.

Concrete has a K rating around 1 W/m²K. PUR insulation foam has a K rating of 0.024 — a metre of PUR insulation transmits only one fortieth as much energy as concrete.

  • Fire

    DIN 4102

    Classified to Class B3.

The polyurethane foam is equipped with reactive and non-reactive flame retardants in the right amount and ratio, meeting the fire classification of construction products and building elements in accordance with DIN 4102, Class B3.

  • Structure

    Strength at low weight.

High load bearing capacity at low weight, excellent water and vapour barrier, and the capacity for rapid erection without lifting equipment.
